Located, as the name indicates, on the very top of the Chasseron mountain (1607 m) in canton Vaud, this hotel offers a breathtaking view over the Lac Neuchâtel and its surroundings.
It offers two types of accomodations:
- Standard hotel (as it initially was)
- Two wooden barrels located right next to the hotel
Eitherway, you will enjoy amazing sunsets and sunrises from up there.
walking only a few meters up to the ridge also will give you awesome sensations with its jaw dropping sharp drop and beautiful landscapes. Definitely the kind of places that will leave you with great memories!
About the barrels:
The barrels are beautifully decorated and split in two segments.
The first segment consists in a kind of living room where you will find your towels, tea and coffee as well as room to store your bags.
The second half of the barrel consists of a large bed with a huge window that lets you enjoy both sunset and sunrise while allowing you to count stars at night.
Meals and Service:
The hotel is equipped with a restaurant. For dinner, the menu is nice and offers various options ranging from cheese fondue to other warm dishes, entries and deserts.
Breakfast is also served in that restaurant and consists of bread, coffee and cereals.
What to do in the area:
While the view is breathtaking – also think of sleeping and relaxing! Many hiking possibilities exist in the area!
Depending on the season, this place turns into a ski station!
