A beautiful tree house in the heart of a forest and natural park. That tree house is located in Bonlieu, France, close to the famous Cascades du Hérisson.
The whole place is located next to a natural reserve area, so don’t be surprised if you wake up with Roe Deers and Squirrels next to your tree house!
For the time being, the domain hosts 2 tree houses and plans to expand in the coming years!
The big plus of that place is that each tree house, while being isolated from each other and surrounded by a dense forest, is connected to running water and electricity!
This means: No dry toilet, Yes a running shower!

Rooms and accommodations:
The tree houses are really spacious!
You have a living room (table, chairs, and so on) with a small kitchen place (microwave, coffee machine and fridge) and a huge bed (with a super comfi mattress)
Behind the bed and the wall, you will find the bathroom (with two sinks, hair dryer etc) and a separate toilet and shower!
Both are really well built and the shower is pretty awesome!
But the best is coming!
Accessible from both the bedroom or the bathroom is the balcony! A huge half covered balcony with a sitting place (table and chairs) as well as a jacuzzi (out of fancy stainless steel)!
The view from up there is simply breathtaking and the sun sets right in front of you!
So yes, you heard it right! Champagne and white wine in the jacuzzi while watching the sun set! (please use the plastic glasses if drinking outside!)
Food and beverages
The place offers multiple choices of drinks (local wines, juices and so on) as well as meals (dinner).
You can order discovery platers (meat, cheese etc) or complete menus (entry, main and desert). The food is served in cute little pots and can be re-heated at your flat.
This means, no time pressure, just eat when you want!
The quality is quite good and the quantities are more than enough!
Breakfast is served early in the morning (between 8 and 0830) in a pick-nick basket suspended at a rope below your tree house.
Products are all local and you can choose among different honey and jam types which are quite original !
Additional services
To make your stay even more relaxing, you can organize a massage service directly at your tree house. This is a really nice additional touch to your stay! Depending on the weather conditions (and if it is warm enough) you can even have it on the balcony! Can only recommend it!
